Sex, Lies and Video Tape.
Ha ha ha, "Sex, Lies and Video Tape" was actually a movie title which I watched the movie more than 10 years ago. I don't think the movie is available here in Malaysia, but the title fits our country political scenes well for the first two months of 2008. Kek Kek Kek.

Bah Kut Teh
Slurp...slurp. "Bah Kut" means Spare Ribs in Hokkian or Teochew (Chinese dialects). "Teh" means Tea in Malay, but herbal soup is a better description. Despite the Malay word, this is a 100% Malaysian Chinese food, and its popularity is almost equivalent to burgers to American. The soup has got strong taste, and they say it is good for men. Go, try it out, feel the difference.

My trading ideas for 25/Feb/08~29/Feb/08
KLCI: Composite Index dropped 3.1% last week. Not good at all. It didn't break new low though. A technical rebound is very much expected. MACD doesn't look good. If it can consolidate around 1408 level (EMA81), then we can be out of downtrend risk, for another week.
VS: I am obsessed with this counter now. I am tracking it closely for possible trading opportunity.

Technical Analysis on V.S Industry Berhad (2)
A hammer was formed on Feb.22.2008. Will this mark as a reversal? I am still doubtful, due to lack of market participation (volume is just about normal level). Nonetheless, give it a benefit of doubts, this will be a double bottom if indeed it moves upward on Feb.26.2008.
Time to be Humble
My last week TA on KLCI makes a total fool out of me (some people are probably laughing at me right now, never mind. I will laugh louder when I am right next time.) Market was proving me wrong every single freaking day, and that was pretty hard to swallow. Not that I lost a lot of money last week, but it is an ego thing. I need to learn to be very very humble in front of this huge guy called Mr. Market. I don't want to crash into him. Let him lead the way. That's all for now.

Doji? Kore Wa Nani?
I am not talking dirty, ha ha ha!
Doji is one of the Japanese Candlestick patterns. Let Investopia tell you the rest: A doji candlestick looks like a cross, inverted cross, or plus sign. Alone, doji are neutral patterns. StockChart.com gives more detailed readings on Doji... One of the examples:
After an advance or long white candlestick, a doji signals that buying pressure may be diminishing and the uptrend could be nearing an end. Whereas a security can decline simply from a lack of buyers, continued buying pressure is required to sustain an uptrend. Therefore, a doji may be more significant after an uptrend or long white candlestick. Even after the doji forms, further downside is required for bearish confirmation. This may come as a gap down, long black candlestick, or decline below the long white candlestick's open. After a long white candlestick and doji, traders should be on the alert for a potential evening doji star.
I am learning new things everyday.
(Just for your info., our chat-box guest ParisHilton loves candelsticks. She introduced me the Doji)

Tua Pek Kong predicts sluggish economy from Feb to June
PENANG: The country’s economy will be slightly slower than the previous year, according to the predictions of Tua Pek Kong or God of Prosperity.
The deity had predicted during the annual Chneah Hoay (flame-watching) ceremony here at the Hai Choo Soo (Sea Pearl) Temple in Tanjung Tokong that the country’s economy would be slow during the first four months of the lunar year (Feb 7 to June 3).
However, it is expected to pick up during the second third (June 4 to Sept 28).
The ceremony on the eve of Chap Goh Meh last night was the 118th Chneah Hoay at the temple.
The turnout was, unexpectedly, lower than in previous years but there were still hundreds, mostly businessmen, thronging the seafront temple to witness the ceremony.
It is believed that the deity could foretell the country's economy for the Chinese lunar year, through the flames from some 60 burning joss sticks.
The prediction is based on the height and intensity of the flames, and the speed with which the embers in the deity's urn flare up.
The embers were fanned in three stages – once each for every four months of the lunar year.
The ceremony, which lasted about 15 minutes, began at 11.55pm.
Lights, candles and oil lamps were put off to enable the Poh Hock Seah Temple committee members to scrutinise the flames for prediction.
Poh Hock Seah Temple president Datuk Lim Chooi Beng said embers from the burning joss sticks ignited after about nine minutes of the first fanning, signifying that the economy was slow in taking off.
“The second fanning took about two minutes while the last was only a minute, showing that the economy will be improving from mid-year onwards,” he said.
Advising the public to not panic, he said Chneah Hoay is only a religious ritual and the results merely a prediction.

Blu-ray set to be DVD standard after Toshiba white flag
Sony's Blu-ray looks set to become the standard for high-definition DVDs after Toshiba signalled Monday that it may give up in a long-running format battle, to the relief of investors.
Japan's Toshiba conceded defeat Tuesday to rival Sony in a long-running DVD format war, ending consumer confusion but leaving about one million people with expensive machines doomed to become obsolete.

Question and Answer Session: bush & TOM
I received this question from reader bush: TOM,how about sime and sime cb (23:09 Feb 18, 2008)
These are my comments:
OK, bush, here is the psychology part, what makes you interested in these 2 counters, probably you are already bias? so.. whatever my comments, maybe you WILL interpret them to your bias? as TA trader, my first step is looking for counters that fit my technical requirements, I will not go further on counters that are filtered out. So, it might be wrong for me to keep on giving TA on counters that I shouldn't be looking at (I am at risks of upsetting my own system) It is a process thing. I hope you understand. So, tell me why you are interested in these 2 counters in the first place, I am sure you have your reasons, and I would like to listen to your stock selection system. You can send me your remarks in the comment area of this post, because messages in this shout box will disappear fast. Thank you for visiting www.talkonlymah.blogspot.com

Kena Fakeout!
Further to my yesterday chart reading of uptrend bias KLCI chart, I think I kena its fakeout today. What is a fakeout? According to Investopia, fakeout is "A term used in technical analysis to refer to a situation in which a trader enters into a position in anticipation of a future transaction signal or price movement, but the signal or movement never develops and the asset moves in the opposite direction."
As a result of uptrend bias, I lost 3pts at FKLI.

Pak Lah: Don’t compare Malaysia with Singapore
PENANG: Do not compare Singapore’s economy with that of Malaysia's.
It is like comparing “first-class grapes (Singapore) with first-class apples (Malaysia),” Prime Minster Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said when addressing the Chinese community at the Penang Chinese Town Hall (PCTH) dialogue session yesterday.
“We are a population of over 20 million and we rank eighth in the world in terms of our competitiveness.
“This is not the Government’s figure and I am not telling you lies. This statistic is from an international survey.
“If I quote statistics from our own surveys, you will not believe us. Everywhere I go, the business community tells me that Malaysia is doing very well. These people are smart. You cannot fool them because they are well-read,” he said, adding that the Government had no reason to lie.
“Please trust us – we are your government. If you look at the economy, we are doing well. That is a fact proven by figures. But people still claim otherwise because of increasing prices. This is a very simplistic way of analysing the economy.
“Nobody is happy to see prices rising but this is out of our control. The question is not how to bring down prices but how to help the rakyat cope.
“Every country in the world is faced with rising oil prices except maybe Brunei but you cannot compare. The RM40bil oil subsidy we give out can be used to build better schools, roads, hospitals and infrastructure but we don’t want to burden the people,” he said, adding that education and medical treatment was also heavily subsidised by the Government.

My trading ideas for 18/Feb/08~22/Feb/08
KLCI: I am "still" uptrend bias, rising support line, convergence shown with MACD. Could be a good week ahead for KLCI.
What can I do if I expect a possible uptrend of KLCI?
To trade those index-linked stocks OR long KLFI. Hmmm... I have not made up my mind. Sometimes we don't "have to" trade. There is a saying, "The more you trade, the less you make".

Case Study: A Tale of Three Steel Kingdoms
Who is leader? Who is laggard? At first glance, I will pick AnnJoo. (Please note I am using weekly charts here, which show clearer trend movement of mid-term. I will only zoom in to daily chart after I have found any counter that is of my interest)
AnnJoo: Uptrend intact, seems picking up speed.
Kinstel: Getting fragile, might be some distributions going on.
Onastel: Has been on downtrend, might find some support at EMA81 level.
These analysis are for my own pleasures. Still I have to mention the usual disclaimer crap, these analysis should not be used as references on your buying/selling of any above mentioned stocks. Kekeke.. at your own RISKS!

Chicken First or Egg first?
The idea of upgrading shoutbox has been tickling me. Like a logic problem of chicken and egg, having upgraded shoutbox first to attract viewer or upgrade shoutbox after I have significant viewers? I think the answer is now obvious for my case, current free version of shoutbox is still under-utilized, no urgency to upgrade it yet.. kekeke.

Leno, to be fair, as I have the advantage of posting articles right on the front and you don't here, so we have better update the development of this in the comment column. OK, Leno, Hero or Zero? TOM, can talk only, acting smart or acting dumb. Game on! Time will tell.

Pelvic floor exercises good for men too
Pelvic floor exercises for men have been found to be highly effective in restoring erectile function according to recently published research. Research at the Faculty of Health and Social Care at the University of the West of England, Bristol, shows that pelvic floor exercises result in the same overall improvement rate seen in a large trial of men taking Viagra.
Fifty-five men with an average age of 59 years who had experienced erectile dysfunction for 6 months or more took part in the trial, based at the Somerset Nuffield Hospital, Taunton. Dr Grace Dorey, who led the research, found that 40% of these men regained normal function, 35.5% improved, whilst 25.5% failed to improve. She also found that men 65.5% of men with erectile dysfunction also had a dribble of urine after urinating and that this embarrassing condition improved dramatically using pelvic floor muscle exercises.
The pelvic floor exercises were taught by Dr Grace Dorey who is a Specialist Continence Physiotherapist. The men were given 5 weekly sessions of these exercises with biofeedback and assessed at 3 and 6 months and practised daily home exercises.

Okonomiyaki (aka Japanese Pancake)
I love Japanese food. Japanese food is more than Sushi or Tempura. I think I have better write some articles to introduce some highly recommended Japanese dishes.
I never like pizza, our very own Roti Canai beats it by miles. American pancake is still ok, but Japanese pancake beats them hand down. I first tried them (Kansai-style Okonomiyaki) during a business trip to Japan, VERY OISHI NEH, with mugs of beer of course!
Referring to Wikipedia, Kansai-style Okonomiyaki is a pan-fried batter cake. This is the style of okonomiyaki found throughout most of Japan. The batter is made of flour, grated yam, water or dashi, eggs and shredded cabbage, and usually contains other ingredients such as green onion, meat (generally pork or bacon), octopus, squid, shrimp, vegetables, kimchi, mochi or cheese.
...Enjoy!

My trading ideas for 11/Feb/08~15/Feb/08
KLCI: I am uptrend bias, but MACD has yet to cross the signal line from below zero. The bull has to fight very hard against the bearish pressures from around the world. So, buy fast sell fast is the strategy.
Menang: Double Bottom? For me, below 0.30 will be good entry. Let the mkt prove me right or wrong. If wrong, tight stop will be 0.29~0.285.
(Disclaimer: This blog is for my pleasure, and this stock analysis is for my own records, not for your adventure.)

About the photos, I have a confession to make... I saw them already.
Whose photos? Edison's lah! Early this year I thought CSL video was the most scandalous drama of the year 2008, but I was wrong. Edison's photos win it hand down (even on Lingam's case lah)
This is my confession, I thought I could start this CNY clean, but I am too weak to resist the temptations, so I googled around for the pic.. Oh, Mamamia! I couldn't believe my eyes, bootylicious Cecilia spreading eagle, Gillian (Ah Qiu) sucking up!! Schwing..
Then I remembered a conversation with one of the shout box visitor "WB2" the other day, who made these comments:

This pic is taken out of the star "Cops sniff out women hiding in hotel hole" dated 31/Jan/2008.
Why do Malaysia police have to bring in the medias when they conduct this kind of anti-vice raid? Or the newspapers people doing this to meet readers' demand? I don't know. Do we treat these sex workers or foreigners with even tiny bit or respects? Malu malu. Are we judging them already? We just can't talk talk talk human rights and do not live by examples.
